Civil & Structure Engineering Leader

1. JOB SUMMARY
The Civil & Structure Engineering Leader is responsible for leading Civil & Structure Engineering Team to ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
2. Responsibility:
The responsibilities of Civil & Structure Engineering Leader are as follows:
- Lead and manage civil and structure engineering design work for projects engineering stages including Pre-FS, FS, Basis Design, FEED and Detailed Design for reviewing/approving engineering design drawings, models, specifications, calculations and providing technical responses to clarifications
- Manage in development NSRP Specifications and civil & structural related procedures, process and sub process and standards to support Company programs.
- Engage and manage services contracts for civil and structural engineering design works.
- Ensure all design works complies with applicable local and international codes and standards (e.g., TCVN, QCVN, ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC, BS EN, DEP Shell), NSRP specifications and requirements.
- Manage or Lead root cause analysis for failed equipment and mitigation strategies to minimize reoccurrence to ensure Investigation and corrective action timely.
- Provide Civil and structure integrity assessment and recommendation for safe and sustained operation.
Review Civil Asset Integrity program
- Manage the Civil and Structural Engineering work according the task defined in Governance Engineering Procedure
- Prepare manning plan for resource included day-to-day , Project work and Turn Around Event to ensure all Engineering workload well-arrange and execution
- Manage procurement activity for required Engineering service for conducting the Engineering work , code and standard
- Manage the Engineering Contractor and Contractor performance to ensure of quality, schedule and meeting all Legal Requirement; NSRP Project Standard and Specification
- Provide quality assurance check on Civil and Structural Engineering work to ensure Engineering work perform compliance to NSRP procedure, Specification and code/standard
- Manage the Turnaround work list Register and Engineering work as Workback developing from Turnaround event
Manage and provide the design solution as Turnaround troubleshooting and finding
- Provide training and mentoring program to mentor staff of Vietnamese Civil Structural Engineering to develop skills and close competency gap related to Civil and Structural Engineering competency matrix.
- Develop the team KPI, monitor and manage the assessment team of Civil & Structural Engineers reporting the progress to Central Engineering Section Manager.
- Develop team budget and procurement plans for the budget approval for the upcoming year to continue section objectives for asset integrity division.
- Develop and review Civil & Structural Engineering procedures, standards, and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance with related standards.
- Other Tasks assigned by Central Engineering Section Manager.
