Job description

Temporary full time (40 hours/week) Co-op/Intern position for 17 weeks from May 2 to August 26, 2022

We are looking for a developer who can demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge, successfully complete tasks with guidance while following our software development processes, and utilize best practices when coding. You should be able demonstrate from your experience, a working knowledge of development processes such as:

• C language fundamentals
• Object oriented design
• Unit testing
• CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
• Using a source code repository (e.g., git)

Responsibilities

• Refactor unit tests from old framework to new unit test framework
• Implement and maintain build systems (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
• Implement and maintain IEEE 1588 software
• Effectively communicate technical changes such as in SW architecture to business stakeholders
• Produce and maintain API and user documentation
• Work with stakeholders to flesh out SW requirements
• Add features to existing software
• Resolve bugs in existing software
• Debugging HW/SW interactions

Education
