Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Coating Process Engineer (negotiable salary, ID 21519):
Drive the formulation and rollout of comprehensive painting workflows for new programs, encompassing precise parameter configuration for GRACO setups, setup sheets, and independent programming of ABB robotics.
Conceptualize, refine, and optimize painting fixtures while introducing standardized maintenance protocols to ensure fixture longevity and process consistency.
Enhance automated color change-over software routines and systematically adjust setting parameters to maximize line throughput.
Formulate and enforce specialized Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) criteria across all surface coating equipment.
Generate technical cost evaluations and supply structured quoting data dedicated to the painting process.
Lead analytical investigations to pinpoint root causes of surface defects and execute effective corrective measures to elevate paint quality standards.
Champion ongoing KAIZEN initiatives aimed at elevating operational safety, optimizing workflow metrics, boosting quality yields, and driving down mass production expenses.
Facilitate technical coaching and skill enhancement sessions for paint technicians.
Execute additional technical assignments as instructed by departmental leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related technical disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years in paint
application engineering within manufacturing environments focused on plastic components or automotive parts.
Demonstrated capability in standalone ABB Robot programming.
Practical expertise in operating and maintaining GRACO and 2K paint mixing/dispensing installations.
Comprehensive mastery of surface coating fundamentals, equipment maintenance routines, and plastic parts painting techniques.
Full professional fluency in English across all four skills.
