Handles guest and associate enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up.
Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Ensures that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented.
Work closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds vegetables and fruits.
Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood.
Dips food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them.
Stirs and strains soups and sauces.
Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
Stores foods in designated areas.
Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils, segregates and removes garbage
Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Assists in quality control of items.
Sets up buffet presentations.
Supports the implementation of Hyatt Purpose, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt's Values and Goal.
Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
Responds to changes in the Culinary function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
Reads the hotel's Associate Handbook and has an understanding of and adheres to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
Is always willing to learn and willing to teach others.
Takes an active involvement in the welfare, safety, development and well-being of associates.
Values and preserves very good working relationships. Prudently balances resources and standards of service to meet the financial goals of the hotel, Hyatt International Brand Standards and guest expectations.
Responds to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and adjust to changes as dictated by hotel, industry and company.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Yêu cầu
Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role in a 4-5 star international hotel or fine-dining restaurant is an advantage.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety procedures.
Good understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
Basic English communication skills preferred.
Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn.
Well-groomed with a high standard of personal presentation.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
