Communications intern

Reports to: Brand and Digital Communications Manager
Duration: May 2024 - July 2024 (3 months full-time, with possibility for extension)
All around the world, people are waking up to the deepening crisis of nature loss. We're experiencing a growing realisation that nature is our life-support system and that no one will be spared from the impacts of its loss.
Here at WWF, an independent conservation organisation active in nearly 100 countries, we are working to sustain the natural world to benefit people and wildlife. We are part of a growing coalition calling on world leaders to set nature on the path to recovery by 2030 - a New Deal for Nature and People as comprehensive as the global climate deal. Working with many others - from individuals and communities to businesses and government - WWF urgently seeks to protect and restore natural habitats, stop the mass extinction of wildlife, and make the way we produce and consume sustainably.

The Communications Intern is under the direct supervision of the Brand and Digital Communications Manager and will be assisting the Communications Core Department in the following tasks:
Update daily news about WWF-Viet Nam
Research and create list of Vietnamese newspapers, news website, specialized magazines
Assist the creation of articles, newsletters, editorials, PR, stories, and other similar publications- related outputs in support of, but not limited to, the WWF-Viet Nam's Biodiversity and Footprints programmes;
Assist with website management: uploading articles, developing and enhancing the content/layout of the website
Support the development of communication products such as brochures, posters, banners, videos, branded products, etc.;
Support with internal communications: preparing content for a bi-monthly internal newsletter, 30 years celebration, staff retreat, etc.
Assist the communications team in other Communications work, including translating communication materials when needed.
