Understanding
purchasing requirements and specifications from internal requestors;
Conducting supplier and market searches based on the given requirements;
Identifying and shortlisting potential suppliers/vendors;
Collecting initial quotations and supplier information for further evaluation;
Supporting basic sourcing activities as assigned by the Procurement team.
For this role, we are looking for someone with basic sourcing skills, good communication and research ability, and the capability to understand purchasing requirements and translate them into appropriate supplier searches. Prior experience in a sourcing or procurement-related role would be preferred.
