The Customs Clearance Team Leader is responsible for overseeing all import and export customs operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and managing risks.
This role leads the team while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient and seamless customs processes.
- Oversee and manage end-to-end import and export customs clearance operations
- Review and validate duties, taxes, and customs declarations
- Ensure full compliance with customs laws and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with customs authorities and government agencies
- Identify and resolve customs-related issues and risks
- Collaborate with customer & internal departments (Warehouse, Local delivery etc..)
- Manage relationships with customer, customs brokers, forwarders
- Drive process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in customs, logistics, or trade compliance (priority for Electronics appliance)
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
- Proven leadership experience (at least 5 years managing a team)
- Solid understanding of end-to-end import/export processes
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Licensed Customs Broker or equivalent certification
- Experience in manufacturing or multinational companies
- Proficiency in English
