Location: Primarily based in Hanoi with the option for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Department: Data & AI - Real Estate & Retail Sector
Reports To: Head/Director of Data Management
This role is responsible for policy, quality, compliance, and ensuring data is trusted and discoverable.
Role Overview
The Senior Data Governance Manager will establish and lead the framework that defines how our data is controlled and used. You are the bridge between Legal, IT, and Business units, ensuring that data is treated as a high-quality, compliant, and strategic corporate asset.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain the Data Governance roadmap, including data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management.
• Establish a council of data stewards across departments to drive accountability and standardise definitions.
• Ensure all data practices align with government regulations and internal security protocols.
• Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Partner with product and data science teams to ensure governed data is available for modeling and AI initiatives.
• Establish governance policies and processes that ensure data quality, compliance, and trust, following globally recognised principles of data management.
• Embed governance practices into daily operations, making compliance and quality part of the data lifecycle.
Yêu cầu
• 10+ years in Data Governance, Data Management, or Compliance at an enterprise level.
• Proven track record of building or scaling governance frameworks in large, complex, or multinational organisations.
• Exceptional stakeholder management; the ability to "sell" the value of governance to non-technical leaders.
• Hands-on experience with governance platforms like Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
• Certifications: CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) are highly preferred.
• International exposure through study and/or work experience in tech companies is desirable. International nationality is an option.
