Responsibilities
Support development and execution of category strategies aligned with organizational objectives for data center, construction, and related categories.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
Support execution of sourcing strategies, RFx processes, discussions, and supplier evaluations within data center and construction categories.
Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and identify value opportunities.
Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and performance evaluation.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience
4 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement roles, managing construction, data center or related categories, or 3 years of experience with advanced degree
Experience with sourcing strategies, RFx (RFP, RFQ, etc.) processes, discussing agreements, supplier evaluations, cost savings, and value creation
Experience with contract drafting, review, and management ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, and partnering with contracting teams and cross-functional partners
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree
Certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
Experience analyzing procurement data, generating reports, and providing insights to support decision-making and performance evaluation within the category
Experience developing and managing KPIs/metrics to measure category performance and track progress
Experience leveraging technology and analytical tools to enhance category management practices and drive data-driven decision-making
Excellent project management skills and ability to lead strategic projects aimed at improving processes, implementing new strategies, or driving innovation

The Category team is responsible for developing and driving holistic category strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and bringing excellence to Google-wide sourcing, supplier, and contract management.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $1[protected info] + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
