Title: Data Engineer (AWS)

Job Descriptions
Join our Data Engineering team supporting a strategic US client. You'll work on large-scale enterprise data projects, building modern AWS-based data pipelines and solutions with Python, SQL, and cloud-native technologies while collaborating closely with global teams.
Build and maintain robust AWS-based data pipelines for structured and unstructured enterprise data.
Develop data ingestion and processing pipelines for files, metadata, and enterprise applications.
Implement batch and incremental data processing using cloud-native AWS services.
Develop data extraction, transformation, indexing, and data warehouse loading workflows.
Build and maintain integrations with REST APIs and enterprise platforms.
Design data models, metadata structures, lineage, and data reconciliation processes.
Implement data quality, error handling, logging, monitoring, and operational support mechanisms.
Apply security, data lifecycle, and retention best practices across data pipelines.
Support CI/CD, infrastructure deployment, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.
Job qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related fields.
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS S3 and AWS Lambda or ECS/Fargate.
Experience with Amazon OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and Amazon Redshift or equivalent data warehouse platforms.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, pagination, rate limiting, and retry mechanisms.
Experience with batch/incremental data ingestion, data quality, and reconciliation.
Understanding of metadata management, schema design, data lineage, and unstructured data processing.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and CloudWatch or equivalent observability tools.
Experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow APIs is a plus.
Knowledge of embeddings and vector indexing pipelines is an advantage.
Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or enterprise system integrations is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and ownership skills.
Ability to work effectively with distributed and multicultural teams.
Good English communication skills.
