data scientist to contribute to our ongoing development of data pipelines, analysis models, and optimization algorithms. You will play a critical role in design and development and help mentor junior analysts.
Expertise in the full range of techniques for nonlinear programming, branch and bound, general mixed-integer programming, stochastic programming, and global optimization is especially desired. Experience with data architectures, analytics engines and libraries, and programming in SQL, Python, Java, or C/C++. Experience with mathematical programming tools such as Gurobi, CPLEX, SCIP.
Intermediate English skills required.
Responsibilities
Support and partner with clients and team members.
Support team development of data architectures for analysis.
Lead exploratory data analysis (EDA), design and build of data analysis models.
Lead design, development, and refinement of optimization models.
Enhance methods for handling decision-making under uncertainty, integrate probabilistic demand forecasts into optimization workflows, refine algorithmic strategies to enhance revenue.
Explore and apply the latest developments in optimization research methods that hold promise.
Act as an automation optimization subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
