Database AdministratorTitan DMS

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases.
2. Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patches as needed.
3. Ensure the security and integrity of the databases.
4. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL Server instances.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
6. Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and enhance application performance.
7. Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.
8. Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.

Technical Attributes:

1. Proficiency in SQL Server administration.
2. Expertise in T-SQL scripting and stored procedure development.
3. Experience with database monitoring and management tools.
4. Understanding of best practices in database design and optimization.
5. Ability to automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator in a senior role.
3. In-depth knowledge of SQL Server architecture, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
4. Experience with SQL Server performance tuning and optimization.
5. Strong understanding of database security principles.
6. Familiarity with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for SQL Server.
7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) is a plus.
10. Experience with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) is an advantage.

1 WORKING HOURS

• Working hours is flexible and the standard guideline is between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 hour break for lunch.
• Staff can start early and finish early to keep in sync with Australia working hours

2 LEAVES

• 12 days Annual Leave per annum. Annually leave is accumulated up to 2 years.
