For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for a Database Developer (C#). As such, you always will be working with the latest proven technologies in a state of the art office with an open environment.

Their IT managed services team and support team have many years of experience in rapidly resolving customer issues and ensuring that problems are given long term solutions rather than short-term fixes. They offer remote technical support and onsite support across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

As a Migration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of data and applications from legacy systems to modern platforms. Your expertise in SQL databases, PowerShell, C#, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365 will be essential for successful migrations. Specifically, you'll focus on migrating legal case management systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance. As a Migration Engineer, you will be in charge of the following details:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration plans for legal case management solutions.
• Execute the physical setup of workstations in the new environment.
• Organize and sustain SharePoint sites for migration tracking and team issue resolution.
• Develop migration and integration SQL code for client enforcement, upgrades, and requests.
• Ensure seamless migration of legal case data, documents, and workflows.
• Work closely with legal teams to understand specific requirements and constraints.
• Troubleshoot migration-related issues, including data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement PowerShell scripts for automated server deployment and configuration.
• Coordinate OneDrive and Office 365 migrations, ensuring data security and access controls.
• Collaborate with IT teams to establish domain connectivity and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitor migration progress, perform testing, and validate data accuracy post-migration.
• Provide technical support during the transition phase and address user inquiries.
