Working location: Factory (Tan Dong Hiep, Di An - Binh Duong), has shuttle bus
Report to: Planning and Inventory Control Manager
Responsibilities:
1/ Demand Planning
- Lead Monthly Demand Review, weekly Sales & Operation Execution meetings with the Sales/Marketing team to analyze key SKU movement, upside/downside risks, and tactical actions.
- Facilitate monthly Demand Review as part of the S&OP cycle, coordinating cross-functional inputs and delivering consensus-driven plans.
- Challenge assumptions using data while maintaining a strong business partnership.
2/ Forecasting and Analytics
- Consolidate monthly forecasts from Retailer and Project Sales; Marketing.
- Build and maintain statistical baseline forecasts.
- Analyze seasonality, internal (promotions, NDPs, ...) and external drivers to enrich forecast process
- Compare Sales forecast vs statistical baseline; highlight variances and lead alignment discussions.
- Roll out the Validated Demand Plan across Supply Chain and Operations.
- Maintain forecast history, assumptions, and version tracking.
3/ Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory health indicators (coverage, aging, write-offs) and collaborate with supply planning to mitigate risks.
- Develop proactive demand scenarios and contingency plans to address demand volatility and supply constraints.
- Provide risk alerts for overstock, slow-moving SKUs, or potential stockouts if any.
- Recommend adjustments to safety stock, product phasing, and stocking strategies.
- Provide demand inputs for NPD and product lifecycle decisions.
4/ Reporting & Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain KPIs (forecast accuracy, bias, service level, inventory coverage, obsolescence, forecast value add) and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop standardized forecasting and planning templates, reports, and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, and enhance planning efficiency.
Identify opportunities for digitalization and data modernization in planning and supply chain.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Business, Industrial Management.
5+ years of experience, 2+ years in a supervisory in demand planning in paint, chemicals, FMCG, or high-SKU industries.
Experience balancing both Sales-driven and statistical forecasts.
Exposure to digital/automation projects in supply chain is preferred.
* Technical skills:
Strong statistical forecasting and modern forecasting techniques
Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and automation
BI tools: Power BI
ERP/Planning: SAP IBP/APO, O9 (preferred).
Python & SQL knowledge a plus; learning on the job expected
* Soft skills:
Strong business acumen; able to challenge constructively.
Excellent communication and facilitation (especially with Sales teams).
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Ability to manage stakeholders across departments.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable with data complexity.
