Mô tả công việc
OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
• Implement the approved annual business plan.
• Develop market position and increase market share of vegetable seeds as well as build long-term relationship with distributors/ wholesalers, retailers, chain customers & growers in line with the marketing and sales strategy in order to realize profitability and partnership.
• Identify new partners/wholesalers and manage their distribution channels.
• Identify & develop new & direct channels: e-commerce, big corporative, key accounts.
• Develop and implement successful introduction strategies for the new vegetable seed varieties.
• Liase with government agriculture/horticulture department for product registration/ import regulations/ seed license etc
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES
Sales
• Adapt and execute the annual budget in line with the inventory and production outcomes; Make short and long-term sales plans by strong collaboration with all work relations.
• Ensure annual/ monthly business plans are formulated and followed up with all the strategic distributors/ wholesalers.
• Develop new relationships with potential distributors/ wholesalers in identified target markets and introduce vegetable seeds products to them in line with agreed business objectives; Develop and execute customer (distributors/ dealers) management, maintain good relationship and improve their loyalty.
• Collaborate and follow up with distributors for the proper implementation of the demand generation plan.
• Build/expand and oversee the network of retailers to increase our channel depth (penetration) and share of wallet with retailers.
• Coordinate with customers/teams to understand the promotional activities in the assigned geography and partner for big grower events.
• Plan, propose, and execute the promotional activities for focus crops in line with sales plan.
Product & Market Development
• Conduct the trials/ demonstrations for the varieties of all focussed crops and create markets/ segments for varieties by demonstrating their value to growers/ customers/ dealers.
• Coordinate to suggest and execute the crop development plan.
• Initiate the introduction of new varieties and propose on price levels, and product forms in order to contribute to the commercial success of new varieties.
• Suggest /train the growers for advanced practices for best results of our products and handle the growers' queries effectively.
Cash Management
• Be responsible for AR (account receivables) and the associated payment terms in line with the Finance policy in order to ensure smooth order flow and credit management.
• Ensure that all the financial metrics are well monitored/ reviewed periodically.
Miscellaneous
• Provide all kind of market intelligence (new launches, product related information, growers' needs etc.) in order to contribute to the formulation of the marketing and sales plan in the respective crops and region.
• Manage all marketing & promotions materials for vegetable seed business.

• Degree in Agriculture or relevant disciplines
• Min 4-year experience in sales or business development for vegetable seeds
• Good commercial skills
