Lead and manage the overall design process from concept to detailed design and construction support.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Review and approve design submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
Act as the main point of contact between client, consultants, and contractors regarding design matters.
Ensure design coordination, clash detection, and resolution across all disciplines.
Manage design schedules and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for complex design challenges.
Oversee design quality assurance and risk management.
Support construction teams by providing design clarifications and resolving site issues.
Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and relevant approvals.
Manage and oversee all design activities related to building and airport terminal projects.
Ensure integration and coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
Review, evaluate, and approve all design documents, drawings, and technical submissions.
Lead design coordination meetings with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
Identify and resolve design conflicts, clashes, and technical issues.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor design progress and ensure alignment with project schedule and milestones.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team.
Coordinate with construction teams to address design-related issues during execution.
Participate in value engineering and optimization of design solutions.
Support authority submissions and approval processes.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping of design activities.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering.
Must be a licensed Architect (with valid practicing certificate) OR a licensed Structural Engineer with Grade 1 Design Certificate.
Minimum 15 years of experience in structural design of building projects.
Proven experience as Design Manager / Design Lead / Chief
Designer.
Must have acted as Lead Designer or Chief Designer for at least one airport terminal project.
Experience in the design of special-grade passenger terminal projects is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of international design standards and local regulations.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex and large-scale infrastructure projects.
