Job Description
Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with
software engineers to automate and optimize build, test, and deployment processes.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production environments.
Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
Manage and configure cloud services and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including code scanning, vulnerability assessments, and access controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define infrastructure needs, and drive technical initiatives to completion.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, automation, and cloud computing.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software development and operations.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI), and build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), New Relic, and Datadog.
Experience in configuring and maintaining monitoring solutions to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
Ability to design and implement scalable logging and monitoring solutions to track application and system metrics.
Familiarity with log aggregation, analysis, and visualization techniques to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Kubernetes certifications, or relevant monitoring tool certifications are a plus.
