We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to manage our AWS cloud infrastructure, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and keep our systems reliable and secure. You'll work closely with our Dev team, coordinate with our Network Admin on network/security matters.
Job Description
Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch)
Monitor system performance and optimize for cost, performance, and scalability
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Write automation scripts to reduce manual operational work
Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Set up and maintain monitoring/alerting for servers and applications
Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with the Dev team
Work with the Network Admin on basic network/security configurations related to the cloud environment
(If you have coding ability) support the Dev team with simple coding tasks once the system stabilizes
Maintain documentation for system design and troubleshooting
Work with the other teams to create workflow, policy, pipeline to enhance productivity
Communicate and report directly to leaders in Vietnam and Canada (chat, e-mail, document)

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
Strong experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch)
Strong Linux and Windows server administration; comfortable with scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Working understanding of networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, DNS)
Good at English
Nice to have (not required now, but a strong plus we're expanding into on-prem/hybrid infrastructure over time)
Able to code at a moderate level, C#/C++ preferred (not expert-level; a strong plus in screening)
Virtualization experience: VMware vSphere/ESXi, Proxmox, or KVM
Production Kubernetes on bare metal or VMs (kubeadm, RKE2, k3s, OpenShift or similar)
On-premise networking: VLANs, routing, firewalls (iptables/nftables, pfSense/FortiGate), HAProxy/Keepalived, VPN
Backup, HA, and disaster recovery experience (Velero, Restic, or equivalent)
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, OKRs
