About Smartbit At Smartbit, we build high-performance, resilient, and secure financial technology platforms. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and scale our core cloud and container infrastructure supporting high-throughput, low-latency microservices.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud &
• Network Architecture: Design, secure, and maintain network infrastructure; ensure strict isolation across Dev, Staging, and Production environments.
CI/CD Automation: Build and manage reliable CI/CD pipelines featuring automated build, test, security scans, blue/green or rolling deployments, and rollback capabilities.
Containerization &
• Orchestration: Deploy, scale, and optimize Docker &
• Kubernetes clusters tailored for Golang-based microservices and high-throughput workloads.
Workload &
• Resource Management: Configure Kubernetes horizontal/vertical autoscaling, readiness/liveness health checks, and efficient resource allocation.
Performance &
• Traffic Optimization: Implement CDN and distributed caching strategies to minimize latency and manage traffic spikes.
Observability: Set up comprehensive monitoring, centralized logging, and proactive alerting frameworks across infrastructure and application layers.
Reliability &
• Incident Management: Troubleshoot bottlenecks, investigate system issues, and lead incident response.
Documentation &
• Compliance: Maintain architectural diagrams and infrastructure-as-code documentation for system audits and scaling roadmaps. What We're Looking For
Core DevOps Stack: Proven hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.).
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience architecting and operating production environments on AWS.
Ecosystem Familiarity: Solid understanding of build, packaging, and runtime requirements for Golang backend services.
High Performance &
• Scaling:
Strong background in load balancers, CDNs, autoscaling policies, and caching layers.
Fintech-Grade Security: Deep awareness of access control (IAM/RBAC), secrets management, secure networking, and compliance standards.
Nice to Have: Prior experience with high-concurrency, low-latency, real-time, or multi-tenant systems.
Mindset: Strong systems thinking, fast incident resolution, and collaborative cross-functional communication.
