The Job
The primary responsibilities of this position are to collaborate with the stakeholders to identify specific business requirements, design, and develop innovative solutions by using the Microsoft Power Apps Platform. Furthermore, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting issues, and training for end users to ensure optimized utilization of these applications.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, support, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform applications including Power Apps, Power Automate, etc tailored to specific business requirements.
- Integrate Power Apps applications with data sources, workflow, and other Microsoft services (e.g, SQL, SharePoint, Canvas Apps and Power Automate).
- Design and create database models.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and other team members to gather and document application requirements, specifications, and user stories.
- Maintain documentation of functional, solution specifications according to best practice.
- Work closely with business users to understand the business requirements, and provide support, maintenance, and training.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies within the Power Apps ecosystems.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to established coding and development standards (Desired).
Your Skills and Experience
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in developing solutions by using Power Apps and Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of Power Apps components, data models, authentication, and integration capabilities.
- Proficient in common data service (CDS) environments, data connectors, and related Microsoft technologies (Power Automate, SharePoint).
- Working experience with relational databases.
- With experience in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL Database.
- Prior experience with agile development methodologies, preferably SCRUM, is a plus.
