About the role
We are looking for a Performance
Marketing Manager to own and scale our Google Ads channel across global markets. This is a leadership role. You will set the Google growth strategy, own millions of budgets per month and its ROAS/CPA targets, and build and lead a team of Google Ads specialists. You will also shape how the team uses AI and automation to beat the market.
You will be accountable for the business result, not just the campaigns: growing revenue profitably, improving ROAS and customer lifetime value (LTV), and turning data into decisions the wider business can act on.
What you will do
Strategy & business ownership
Define and own the Google Ads strategy across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube/Demand Gen and Display for global markets (US/EU first).
Own budget allocation, growth targets and KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CAC, LTV, contribution margin). Build annual, quarterly and monthly plans and forecasts for leadership.
Find new growth levers (markets, products, campaign types, feed strategy), build the business case and lead the launch and scale-up.
Team leadership
Build, lead and develop a team of Google Ads specialists and Team Leads: set goals, coach, review performance and grow future leaders.
Design workflows, playbooks and quality standards so the team scales without losing speed or quality.
Hire with the TA team and raise the bar for performance marketing at Crossian.
Optimization, measurement & insight
Own the testing roadmap across bidding, audiences, creatives, landing pages and product feeds, making sure tests are rigorous and learnings are shared.
Own conversion tracking and measurement: GA4, GTM, Enhanced Conversions, server-side tracking and Merchant Center feed health. Work with Data to improve attribution and incrementality testing.
Present regular performance reviews and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Human <> AI performance operations
Lead the use of AI and automation across the workflow: scripts, bid and budget automation, feed optimization, creative generation and reporting.
Define where AI speeds the team up and where human judgment stays essential, and measure the impact.
Cross-functional & partner management
Work closely with Creative, Content, Product, Data and Tech on the creative pipeline and the website conversion funnel.
Manage the relationship with the Google account team: beta access, policy and suspension escalations, quarterly reviews.
What we are looking for
6+ years in performance marketing, including 4+ years hands-on with Google Ads on conversion/ROAS objectives (Search, Shopping, PMax).
A proven record of profitably scaling large budgets (from 100k USD/month), with clear results on ROAS, CPA and revenue.
Experience in e-commerce/D2C, cross-border, app/game or a performance agency. US/global market experience is a strong plus.
Strong analytical skills: GA4, GTM, Merchant Center, Excel/Sheets, SQL/BI is a plus. Comfortable with unit economics and P&L.
A bachelor's degree in Data, IT, Mathematics or a related field. A top local or overseas university is preferred, and Google Ads certificates are a plus.
Good English, and good at presenting to leadership.
