Position: Director, Emerging Technologies

Emerging business division is looking for proven results driven Director of next generation connectivity to drive next generation solution to connect with AI-based connected-sensing technologies. This position reports into VP of Emerging Business Division.

Location: San Jose, CA- Home office or San Diego- Home office

Key Responsibilities:

Define and Drive the product road map of sensors within the Emerging business division
Direct experience with LTE CAT-M1, NB-IOT, 4G, 5G, functional elements and technologies.
Knowledge of next generation technologies including ultra wideband (UWB) and near field communication (NFC).
Drive 4G/5G modules for 4G and 5G in various regions across India, Japan, US, EU, and emerging regions.
Work closely with customers and sales organization to help VP and senior management of BU to drive product roadmap and execution.
Work closely with system architects, sales. FAEs, applications and ASIC team to review progress of customer and internal programs.
Manages marketing and customer driven activities including reference design, certifications, form factor designs, and go-to market strategies.
Manages partner that include Silicon development of RF and Mixed signal ICs

Qualifications and Experience desired.

BSEE or higher in Physics or Electrical Engineering, MBA desired.
Minimum of 12+ years' experience in business unit driving product roadmap and delivering results
Tier1 customer experience

Proven record in leading customer engagements and drive design from conception through production.
Track record of converting DIN to DWINs.
Excellent Communication skills (Written and Verbal) and strong documentation skills.
Proven record in leading analog or sensor or sensor signal conditioning design and integration at top level.
Highly organized and extremely self-motivated to drive new technologies and emerging solutions at customers.
Knowledge of markets and design traction in the industry.
Ability to work well with teammates (locally or remotely located) in a fast-paced professional environment
