Job description
Under a level of self-management at work, an Associate will do the following main tasks:
- Advising on foreign investment, commercial & corporate governance, M&A, labor and employment, litigation and arbitration, real estate, marriage and family, and other business-related legal affairs;
- Reviewing contracts/agreements and other legal documentation;
- Attending meetings with clients (with and without Partners);
- Representing clients to work with State authorities, Courts, Arbitration Center;
- Traveling to clients' site or a requested place to implement legal services of the firm;
- Developing, maintaining and managing client portfolio and managing clients' works;
- Reviewing or amending legal opinion of Paralegals before sending to Partners;
- Providing trainings/ guidance to Paralegals/ Senior Paralegal for carrying legal works; and
- Additional duties as assigned by Partners.
Requirements
- Recognizing our Core Values and heading to achieve them in each action/ work;
- Graduated from a Law Faculty of a Vietnamese university (foreign university is a plus);
- Having lawyer practicing certificate or being a trainee lawyer;
- Having at least 3-4 years' experience working at a law firm in Vietnam;
- Being good at English (understanding, reading, writing, listening and speaking);
- Being able to work independently under pressure;
- Being proactive and able to work remotely or work overtime; and
- Joining a sport or an activity to maintain health.
