I. Position Overview
In this role, you will not merely "manage a system"; you will be the architect of the digital learning experience for our educators. You will bridge the gap between academic strategy and technological execution, ensuring that our school leaders and teachers have access to a world-class, flexible, and evidence-based learning environment. Your work will directly impact the pedagogical quality and leadership capacity across our entire education system.
Location: Vinhomes Ocean Park, Dai Duong, Da Ton, Gia Lam, Ha Noi.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. LMS Architecture & Management
Build and Maintain: Take full ownership of the Learning Management System (LMS) dedicated to professional development. Design the site architecture to ensure an intuitive User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) that encourages self-directed learning.
System Optimization: Regularly audit the platform to ensure stability, security, and accessibility. Manage user accounts, permissions, and course categorization to ensure a seamless flow for thousands of internal users.
2. Pedagogical R&D & Innovation
Evidence-Based Research: Actively research global trends in Andragogy (adult learning) and digital pedagogy. Identify highly effective, evidence-based online instructional approaches (e.g., Micro-learning, Gamification, Flipped PD, Social Learning).
Continuous Improvement: Propose and pilot new e-learning methodologies to the Academic Department to ensure training methods remain cutting-edge and pedagogically sound.
3. Content Digitalization & Instructional Design
Technical Conversion: Translate complex academic training materials (text, slideshows, raw video) into engaging, interactive e-learning modules (SCORM/xAPI compliant).
Multimedia Production: Utilize authoring tools and multimedia software to create high-quality assets (videos, infographics, quizzes, interactive scenarios) that suit the specific needs of adult learners within the system.
4. Data Analysis & Strategic Reporting
Learning Analytics: Monitor and analyze key metrics, including engagement rates, completion rates, assessment scores, and user feedback.
Insight Generation: Go beyond raw data; interpret findings to identify skill gaps and training effectiveness. Prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations to support the Academic Department in strategic decision-making regarding future professional learning initiatives.
5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Execution Support: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), School Boards, and other departments or personnel to facilitate online professional learning campaigns.
Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support regarding online training for faculties and staff.
III. Requirements & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in e-learning development, preferably within an educational institution or corporate training environment.
LMS Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or proprietary systems).
Authoring Tools: Mastery of e-learning authoring software (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, Adobe Captivate).
Multimedia: Proficiency in video editing (Camtasia, Premiere Pro) and graphic design (Photoshop, Canva).
Web Basics: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a strong advantage for LMS customization.
Design Thinking (Human-Centric): You must empathize with the end-users (teachers who are often busy and tech-averse). You design solutions that are not just functional, but delightful and easy to use, minimizing friction in their learning journey.
Critical Thinking: You do not simply digitize content for the sake of it. You critically evaluate why a specific training module should be online vs. offline, and how to best assess understanding. You question assumptions to ensure pedagogical efficacy.
Systems Thinking: You understand that the LMS is part of a larger ecosystem. You see how a single training module fits into the broader career pathway of a teacher and how data flows from the LMS to HR or performance management systems.
Resourcefulness: You are a problem solver who can achieve high-quality results with available resources. You are quick to troubleshoot technical glitches and creative in finding workarounds when standard tools fall short.
