Dwight School Hanoi is the newest addition to the global network of Dwight Schools located in New York, London, Seoul, Dubai, Shanghai, and Dwight Global Online School. The School will be a premium K-12 international school located at The Manor Central Park in Hanoi and is planned to open to students in August 2024.
We are seeking Language Teachers and candidates must demonstrate native-level proficiency in the language they intend to teach, along with effective teaching abilities in both language and literature. Experience with the IB programme, commitment to personalized learning, and modern assessment methods are preferred. Strong communication skills and collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents are essential. Candidates should contribute to curriculum development, possess exceptional subject knowledge, teaching experience, resilience, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A teaching degree is a prerequisite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach IB PYP Vietnamese Home Language Program and Language Acquisition Program to students from ECD to Grade 5.
• Innovative, connected, creative, collaborative, flexible and proactive professional, who has a passion for your subject.
• Demonstrate strong beliefs that all students can access and succeed in Vietnamese Language and that the cornerstone of student confidence is the acquisition of foundational content, skills, and understandings.
• Have a keen interest in promoting student well-being through teaching and learning in the Vietnamese classroom and beyond.
• Demonstrate at all times the learner profile attributes/dispositions.
• Conviction to the development of inquiry-based and conceptually driven curriculum units and educational programmes.
• Effective practice to utilize technology within teaching and learning.
• Assess and provide feedback on student growth and development in Vietnamese Language.
• Teach and expose students to Vietnamese culture through the arts, music, and storybooks, and the celebration of national and regional festivals as part of language development.
