The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to:
- Be in charge of commissioning for ship electrical and automation systems according to the ship's specification in technical design.
- Support technical engineer to make/ update electrical drawings, connection diagrams, and cable lists.
- Prepare requirement technical spec and BOM for purchasing.
- Coordinate interfaces from different system providers.
- Coordinate interfaces between Production, Technical and Commissioning departments to check the quality and process on vessel.
- Test and show electrical and automation systems to Class and Owner to make sure that the system is functional according to the ship's specification.
- Handover Electrical system to the Owner and the vessel crew, including Report and training.
- Prepare and attend Sea Trial for test and report as assigned.
- Manage of technical documents from outsourcing Company.
- Comply with approved drawings from Authorities, ship Owner and the Classification society.
- Technical supervision of the manufacturing department and outsourcing Company.
- Coordinate the information flow with relevant parties.
- Following up design progress, manage drawings and technical documents.
