• Electrical Circuit Design: Design, simulate, and validate electrical circuits and systems for semiconductor devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• PCB Design and Layout: Develop schematic diagrams, perform PCB layout design, and ensure manufacturability and reliability of designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs.
• Component Selection: Select appropriate electronic components, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements for semiconductor applications.
• Testing and Validation: Work closely with testing teams to develop and execute test plans. Analyze test data, troubleshoot electrical issues, and provide design recommendations for optimization.
• Simulation and Modeling: Utilize simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, PSpice, or equivalent) to model and simulate electrical circuits and systems. Analyze results and refine designs based on simulation feedback.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation of design specifications, testing procedures, and results. Provide regular updates and reports to
project managers and senior engineers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and process engineers, to integrate electrical designs into larger systems and products.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing design reviews, risk assessments, and design optimization processes to improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in electrical design within the semiconductor industry or a closely related field.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in PLC programming (Beckhoff, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.), circuit design, PCB design, and layout software (e.g., Altium
Designer, Cadence Allegro, Eagle, etc.).
o Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
o Strong knowledge of semiconductor device operation and principles
o Understanding of high-frequency design principles (e.g., RF, analog circuits).
o Familiarity with power management, voltage regulation, and signal integrity issues.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues, analyze circuit performance, and make improvements to designs.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, reliability, and
manufacturability.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with engineers from other disciplines (e.g., software, mechanical, process engineering).
