Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Engineering Manager (Automotive, $2000++, ID 21308):
Product Development & Project Management
Proficient in APQP and capable of managing the product lifecycle from NPI to SOP and mass production.
Strong understanding of DV/PV, OTS, PPAP, SOP, and SOS milestones.
Experienced in design review, DFMEA, and engineering optimization.
Manufacturing & Mass Production
Familiar with automotive manufacturing processes, including stamping, welding, assembly, injection molding, machining, and die casting.
Capable of troubleshooting production issues and driving process capability and productivity improvements.
Validation & Standards
Experienced in DV/PV validation, PPAP documentation, and product compliance with automotive standards and regulations.
Change Management & Problem Solving
Lead ECN/ECR activities and apply problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, DOE, A3, and DFMEA/PFMEA.
Supplier & Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing,
Purchasing, Sales, and customers to ensure successful product development and issue resolution.
Male/Female, under 50 years old.
Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering, New Energy Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
7 years of experience in automotive product development, vehicle integration, or component development, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
Strong knowledge of APQP and the product development lifecycle from NPI to SOP and mass production.
Familiar with DV/PV, OTS, PPAP, SOP, and automotive manufacturing processes.
Proficient in CAD, UG/NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks, with the ability to read 2D drawings and 3D models.
Good command in English and Chinese.
