Mô tả công việc
Environmental and Social consulting tasks (EIA and Environmental assessments) including quantitative analysis, statutory submission and report-writing. Illustrative environmental tasks may include:
- Participating and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessment studies to conform with Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) requirements and / or international standards;
- Undertaking stakeholder engagement
- Analysis of environmental impacts, including modelling work
- Resettlement Action Plan preparation
- Environmental and Social due diligence
- Support of senior staff in presentations and meetings with clients in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Vietnam and other possible work in the region.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Degree in Environmental Management / Science / Engineering; Civil Engineering or Urban Planning degrees with environmental components; post graduate studies will be an advantage
- On the path to achieve relevant professional license in Vietnam
- 5+ years of experience supporting /undertaking environmental impact assessments / environmental design / resettlement action plans /environmental modelling/ public engagements as well as environmental experience with municipalities
- Familiarity/experience with modelling or simulation tools/software an advantage
- Excellent technical writing, analytical, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with environmental assessment practices in the Vietnam
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the wider institutional and policy context for climate and environment in Vietnam
- Self-starter and team player, able to adapt and work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese
