About the role:
A financial accounting executive manages daily financial-accounting operations, prepares financial statements and other accounting reports, and ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Key responsibilities include handling costing process, reconciling accounts, financial planning and budgeting and assisting with internal/ external audits. The role requires strong accounting principles knowledge, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations relating production
• Analyze and collect data on the costs of business activities, such as raw materials, labor, and overhead, to identify inefficiencies
• Work with various departments to develop cost standards and assist with overall financial planning
• Develop budgets and revenue forecasts, and monitor and reform budgets to control expenses.
• Prepare regular financial reports, such as variance analyses, cost reports, and profitability analyses, for management.
• Implement, modify, and maintain cost accounting systems and ensure recordkeeping is accurate.
• Examine financial data to identify trends, provide recommendations for cost savings, and enhance revenue.
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to inform decisions on cost structures, pricing, and operational improvements.
• May assist with updating policies and procedures and reviewing internal controls.
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.)
• Control/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc)
• Accounts Payable/Receivable and/or Credit & Collections
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and internal guidelines.
• Other tasks assigned by Line manager.
• Professional Qualification/Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
• Manufacturing background with strong accounting double entry knowledge with a minimum of 3-5 years working experiences.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently, strong team spirit and work in meeting deadline.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
