ABOUT THE POSITION
The Finance Manager will report to the Chief Finance Officer and serve as a controller in all finance-related matters, including budget, financial model, MIS, and optimization, etc. The Finance Manager will work closely with leaders to support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems aimed at improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity for the University.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Establish and update financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance simplification, standardization and automation, improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
• Organize and guide colleges/departments on annual budget preparation.
• Review and consolidate the university-wide budget and revise budget as necessary to ensure alignment with the action plan and university's strategic goals.
• Prepare and develop financial forecasts, financial models.
• Appraise financial proposals, financial policies, and other financial-related documents.
• Cost control (including pre- and post-audit), manage major expenditures and capital requests.
• Budget oversight (budget limit, budget color, budget owner/executive), management accounting (GL, CI, IO, cost center, ...), and ensure compliance with the delegation of authority.
• Monitor budget execution.
• Develop, review, revise, update and oversee cost norms.
• Prepare management reports, monitor financial performance by measuring, analyzing results, and initiate corrective actions to minimize variances.
• Organize and monitor the progress of optimization plans, alert leaders of any risks of not meeting objectives, and enable leadership to take necessary actions to achieve committed optimization goals.
• Conduct post-audit inspections on financial aspects according to the approved plan, or irregularly as necessary.
• Guide and consult departments on implementation and compliance with laws and VinUni/Vingroup's finance and accounting policies and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to VinUni/Vingroup policies and regulations regarding financial data storage.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Finance Officer.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration or a related field.
• 05 years of experience in the financial, auditing fields or business management.
• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficiency in using automation and advanced data analysis tools (VBA, Power BI, etc.) is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skill in English.
• Experience from an accredited institution, MBA, Master of Accountancy, CPA, ACCA is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a higher education setting is an advantage.
