About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Finance Manager to look after our local financial operations at AI Rudder Vietnam. You will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, managing accurate monthly financial reporting, and serving as the company's legally appointed finance and tax representative. This is a collaborative role where you will act as a financial advisor to our Sales and Operations departments, providing the clarity and support necessary to drive our growth in the region, while ensuring our entity remains strictly compliant with Vietnamese statutory regulations.
What You'll Do
Statutory Representation (Chief Accountant): Act as the officially appointed Chief Accountant for the Vietnam entity, assuming statutory compliance responsibilities and signing off on all official financial and tax filings.
Monthly Financial Closing & Reporting: Perform full-spectrum accounting duties (AP, AR, GL) and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing in accordance with VAS/IFRS.
Tax & Statutory Compliance: Manage all local tax filings (VAT, FCT, CIT, PIT) and ensure strict compliance with local regulations and e-Invoicing.
External Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact and official representative for external auditors, tax authorities, and local government bodies.
Foreign Loan Management: Lead the loan registration, declaration, and monthly reporting for SBV compliance.
Business Partnering: Act as the finance partner for Sales and Ops to review contract terms, manage collections, and improve local procurement processes.
Day to Day Tasks
Reconcile bank statements, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet accounts.
Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis for regional headquarters.
Monitor changes in Vietnam's tax laws and proactively advise the business on potential impacts or necessary procedural updates.
Assist Sales in reviewing commercial terms, payment milestones, and tax implications (e.g., FCT) for client contracts.
Partner with Operations to monitor AR aging and drive timely collections.
What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Mandatory Certification: Must hold a valid Vietnamese Chief Accountant Certificate (issued or recognized by the Ministry of Finance) and be fully willing to assume the associated statutory liabilities.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting. External audit experience is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and financial requirements; ability to work independently in a remote/decentralized setup.
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of VAS and Vietnam Tax regulations.
Tax Agent Practice Certificate Holder is preferred with proficiency in eTax apps administration (e.g., VNPT, HTKK).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MISA) and Excel.
Experience handling foreign investment is preferred.
