Role Purpose:
The FP&A Partner will support HEXA's real estate investment decisions by analyzing property and deal financials, assessing investment potential and risks, and developing financial plans and recommendations before and after a deal.
The role will work across financial due diligence, investment analysis, financial planning, deal evaluation, and post-deal performance tracking.
How We Work
This is a freelance, 100% remote position.
Flexible schedule
Availability between 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT for occasional check-ins, discussions, and coordination with the team through Zoom meetings
What You Will Do
Conduct financial due diligence on potential properties and investment opportunities.
Review financial statements and validate financial information provided by sellers and stakeholders.
Analyze profitability, investment potential, operating costs, and expected ROI.
Prepare financial projections, scenarios, and recommendations to support buy/no-buy decisions and price negotiations.
Work with legal teams to identify potential financial risks and unfavorable terms in contracts and deal documents.
Prepare financial documents and information required for investors, banks, and tax-related purposes.
Track financial performance after the deal and compare actual results against the financial plan.
Provide reports and recommendations to support management decision-making.
What You Bring
Background: Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, investment analysis, real estate finance, or a related field, with strong experience in financial due diligence.
Technical Skill: Strong skills in financial statement analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, valuation, profitability analysis, and risk assessment. Knowledge of NOI, EGI, DCR, LTV, and real estate financing is preferred.
Language & Communication: Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to clearly present financial analysis, risks, and recommendations.
Preferred Skill: Experience in real estate investment, property valuation, deal analysis, or asset management.
Attitude: Analytical, detail-oriented, objective, proactive, and commercially minded.

Financial due diligence is completed accurately and within the agreed timeline.
Financial information, assumptions, and key risks are properly validated and identified.
Clear financial analysis supports buy/no-buy decisions and deal negotiations.
Investment plans accurately reflect expected costs, returns, risks, and profitability.
Required financial documents are prepared clearly and on time for relevant stakeholders.
Post-deal financial performance is tracked and meaningful variances or risks are identified early.
Analysis and recommendations provide clear, actionable support for management and investment decisions.
