External Research & Sourcing (Research-Led): Lead proactive research initiatives to identify and source advanced materials and technologies across Uppers, Bottom Units, Treatments (Finishes), and integrated Solution Systems.
Category Demand Analysis: Research and deeply comprehend specific category demands to ensure material strategies perfectly align with brand requirements and consumer needs.
Market & Competitor Intelligence: Monitor the current market for cutting-edge, innovative material solutions while analyzing the T1 competitive landscape to maintain a strategic advantage.
Risk Assessment & Concept Collaboration: Identify and research potential material risk factors early in the development phase, collaborating closely with the Concept Creation team to build feasible products.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Investigate the root causes of material-related failures during testing phases, conduct thorough analysis, and propose actionable, effective solutions.
