BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
The FP&A Team Lead is responsible for driving financial planning processes, delivering insightful analysis, and supporting tax compliance. The role partners closely with senior management to enhance business performance, improve decision-making, and strengthen operational efficiency.
1. Financial planning & analysis
Drive the annual operating planning process, periodic forecasting, and long-term financial planning (5-year plan)
Forecast and manage monthly cash flow to ensure sustainable liquidity and support a healthy financial position.
Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis and risk assessment.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to support the achievement of business targets.
Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality of insights.
2. Performance Management & Reporting
Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget, forecast, and prior year), providing clear explanations and actionable insights.
Coordinate and deliver timely, accurate corporate reporting in alignment with group requirements and reporting standards.
Develop and maintain management dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to enable data-driven decision-making.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews.
3. Business Partnering & Decision Support
Partner with business units to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions.
Evaluate business cases, cost-saving initiatives, and profitability improvement opportunities
Provide financial guidance on pricing, cost structure, and operational efficiency.
4. Process Improvement & Controls
Oversee internal control processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, company procedure and relevant regulations.
Drive automation and digitalization of financial reporting and planning processes.
Enhance data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across systems, ensuring reliable and timely reporting.
Coordinate internal/external year-end audits for the AO Vietnam BU, ensuring timely completion.
Promote best practices and standardization across financial planning process and reporting.
5. Additional Support to Management
Provide support to the Senior Financial Manager on tax-related matters as required, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform ad-hoc tasks and special assignments as directed by the Senior Financial Manager,
Accounting Manager and BOD.
