Role Description The Front-end Intern role is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting the design and development of responsive, user-friendly web interfaces. The intern will assist in implementing UI components, optimizing layouts for performance and accessibility, and integrating front-end code with APIs under the guidance of senior
developers. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with
designers and developers, debugging and testing features, maintaining clean and reusable code, and contributing to documentation.
The role may involve working on client projects and internal products, gaining exposure to modern front-end frameworks and best practices. This position offers hands-on learning and mentorship in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Front-end development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with familiarity in at least one modern framework such as React or Angular.
Basic understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility principles for building user-friendly interfaces.
Ability to work with RESTful APIs, version control tools (such as Git), and common front-end build tools or package managers.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and code organization skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn modern best practices.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
Currently pursuing or having recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Knowledge of UI/UX fundamentals, basic design tools, or prior project experience (personal, academic, or internship) is an advantage.
