Job Description
Game Conceptualization
- Generate imaginative and educational game concepts tailored for the target age group and language learning objectives
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine and iterate on game ideas
- Design and Development
- Create comprehensive game design documents, encompassing mechanics, storyboards, and user flows
- Develop interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts
- Work collaboratively with developers to implement and enhance game features
- UI/UX Design
- Design user-friendly and visually captivating interfaces, keeping in mind the specific preferences and engagement levels of children
- Focus on creating an immersive and enjoyable user experience that facilitates language learning
- Educational Integration
- Seamlessly integrate educational content into game design, aligning with language learning principles and curriculum standards
- Ensure the educational aspects of the games are effective and align with pedagogical goals
- Testing and Feedback
- Conduct rigorous playtesting sessions with the target audience to gather valuable feedback
- Utilize feedback data to inform design decisions and continuously enhance the overall gaming and learning experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or a related field
- Proven experience in designing and developing games, with a focus on the kids' category
- Familiarity with English language learning principles and educational pedagogy
- Proficiency in game design tools and software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Data-Driven Approach
- Demonstrated ability to make informed design decisions based on data analysis and user feedback
- Experience in utilizing analytics tools to gather and interpret data related to user engagement, retention, and overall game performance
- Adept at implementing A/B testing and using data insights to iterate and optimize game features
Nice to have
- Experience with Unity or other game development engines
- Background in educational technology or e-learning
- Understanding of child psychology and development
