General Accountant (Manufacturing)

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Independently oversee and control all accounting functions, including cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
- Develop, implement, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the accounting team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare, analyze, and review monthly and annual financial statements (trial balance, balance sheet, profit & loss statements), ensuring adherence to local statutory requirements and industry practices.
- Manage tax reporting processes including VAT, PIT, CIT, and liaise directly with tax authorities for compliance.
- Generate internal reports, assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and prepare reports required by government agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate directly with tax offices, banks, and financial institutions to resolve related issues efficiently.
- Lead the year-end audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Review and verify payment requests to ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and industry standards before release.
- Prepare final financial reports comparing sales forecasts versus actual results, analyzing variances.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the Country Manager regarding financial performance, spending, and cost optimization within the textile and apparel manufacturing context.
