Proteus Vietnam Ltd. is a small and medium FDI enterprise established by Proteus Industries Inc. with a licensed operating period of 50 years (2005-2055) located in Gia Dinh Ward, HCMC ; As a recognized USA leader in flow measurement innovation, the enterprise designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of flow management devices that meet the highest industry specifications. Beyond flow solutions, the company also delivers a full suite of instruments and control systems tailored to the semiconductor and fabrication equipment sector, ensuring precision, reliability, and performance for global clients.
1. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
The General Manager in a foreign company having been employed by the President, shall be the legal representative of the company.
The General Manager is responsible to the President on implementing all assigned powers and duties of the company as stipulated by the President, leading overall operations, ensuring compliance with local laws, and driving business growth, operates daily business activities of the company.
2. KEY TASKS
2.1. To organize and perform all decisions of the President of the company.
2.2. To make decisions on issues related to daily operation activities of the company.
2.3. To organize and perform business plan and investment projects of the company.
2.4. To stipulate all standard operation procedures for internal management of the company.
2.5. To cooperate with related manager to recruit, appoint, remove, dismiss all positions in the company exception for those that are under competence of the President.
2.6. To propose and apply the salary scale, allowances, other benefits, and reward - welfare funds for all staffs those are approved by the President.
2.7. To conclude all business contracts in the name of the company as limited power by the President.
2.8. To prepare and propose the annual budget, the organizational management structure of the company to the President for approval.
2.9. To submit monthly, annual Financial Statement and Audit report to the president.
2.10. To propose the alternative of using profit after tax, dividends transfer or settling losses in the fiscal year.
2.11. To organize and implement all stipulations of present Vietnamese Law: Law on Enterprise, Labor Law, Value added Tax Law, Corporate Income Tax Law, Investment Law, Law on Personal Incomes tax, Law on import-export, and Vietnam's WTO commitments on Services for Investment conditions and investment restrictions for foreign investors while operate business activities in Vietnam.
2.12. To settle all legal issues such as taxes, customs, statistics, labor, legal issue, investment with official administrative bodies in Vietnam where located the office of the company.
2.13. To identify and mitigate operational, financial and legal risks, update all changes which may result to operating business activities of the company in Vietnam.
2.14. To perform other powers and duties as stipulated in the Charter of the company or rights and obligations signed in Labor Contract by the President and the General manager.
2.15. To manage the payment of Trade union fund (1.5% on the company salary fund) with Trade Union President.
2.16. To cooperate with management team to define and execute the company's quality policy and objectives, vision, mission and long-term goal in Vietnam in compliance with ISO 9001

1. Legal Eligibility:
• The General Manager must possess full civil capacity in accordance with the Law on Enterprise, have no criminal record, and must not be subject to any prohibition from managing a company under applicable legislation.
• Must not be a related person of the President, and any individual who has power to appoint the President.
2. Education
• Must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications such as CFO or CEO credentials and must be capable of reading and interpreting financial statements and tax reports (particularly important if the candidate does not hold a degree in finance or accounting).
3. Experience
• Having 8-15 years in senior management experience
• Prior experience with multinational or foreign-invested companies is strongly preferred.
4. Skills
• Excellent communication in English
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
5. Personal Attributes
