1. Product Strategy & Product Investment
- Develop the overall product strategy for the Group's product portfolio and its affiliated companies, categorized by therapeutic area.
- Implement, execute, and evaluate strategic plans for product development and product management.
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to optimize the product portfolio and discontinue underperforming products.
- Recommend and define the strategic direction for new product development and product investments across Aikya Group and its affiliated companies, including but not limited to investments in new production lines, production line upgrades, new manufacturing facilities, M&A activities, or OEM partnerships with third-party manufacturers.
- Define and execute the development strategy for new product categories and high-tech pharmaceutical products that are currently unavailable or in limited supply in the Vietnamese market (e.g., oncology and hormone products), while recommending appropriate development approaches such as joint ventures (JV), technology transfer, or in-house investment.
- Support product pricing strategies, tender dossier preparation, and collaborate closely with the Market Access team.
- Monitor product P&L, ROI, and overall financial performance.
2. Product Portfolio Management
- Oversee the overall management and assume full accountability for Aikya's current product portfolio and its future strategic direction.
- Define product portfolio development strategies based on market trends and competitive analysis to identify market trends, business opportunities, and unmet market needs.
- Monitor competitors' activities and assess their potential impact on Aikya Pharma's product portfolio.
3. Product Development
- Make decisions on new product concepts and product line improvement initiatives in alignment with relevant departments and business functions.
- Manage affiliated companies as well as domestic and international research & development and technology transfer partners.
- Oversee and coordinate formulation optimization and product quality improvement activities across the Group's manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure that all requirements are fulfilled for products under development.
- Identify market gaps and recommend new product development opportunities.
4. Product Lifecycle Management: In collaboration with the Marketing and Commercial Departments
- Recommend product improvements, including packaging, dosage forms, and new therapeutic indications.
- Develop product discontinuation plans for underperforming products.
- Optimize product lifecycle value.
5. Domestic & International Collaboration in Research, Clinical Development, and Product Development
- Collaborate with affiliated companies and research organizations to strengthen domestic and international partnerships while building professional teams and expert networks to support product development.
- Manage product strategies related to M&A activities, including portfolio assessment and post-merger integration.
- Evaluate partners' product portfolios and assess their integration potential.
- Recommend suitable OEM products and monitor their performance.
- Participate in technology transfer implementation and collaborative product development with external partners.
6. Product Development
- Work closely with the R&D, Regulatory Affairs (RA), Market Access, Marketing, Commercial, and Finance teams
- Ensure that product information is communicated accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
- Support the development of value dossiers, tender documentation, and scientific communication materials.
7. People Management, Training & Development
- Develop training plans and enhance professional knowledge for employees within the Product Department at Aikya, as well as relevant personnel across affiliated companies.
- Establish performance evaluation systems and monitor employees' workload and work quality.
- Lead, allocate, and develop the Product Department workforce across Aikya.
Yêu cầu
1. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or an equivalent discipline.
- An MBA degree or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
- Candidates with experience from one of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam or with overseas product research and development experience are preferred
2. Experience:
- At least 05 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or distribution
- Proven experience in Product Portfolio Management and/or Product Research & Development within pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.
- Experience working in EU-GMP, FDA, or PIC/S-compliant manufacturing facilities is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and/or receiving Technology Transfer (Tech Transfer) projects, particularly with international partners, is preferred.
3. Skills:
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and evaluate disease trends, pharmaceutical market developments, and health supplement (HSS) industry trends.
- Strong market analysis, data analysis, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
4. Languages: Proficient in English, with excellent reading, writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
