Oversee and be responsible for managing import and export activities, including customs clearance procedures and preparation, submission and storage of all relevant documents.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of import shipments, and direct the team to work closely with relevant departments such as
purchasing department, suppliers and local teams.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of export shipments, in coordination with customers, production team and freight forwarder.
Guide team members to prepare and submit shipping documents and payments to freight forwarder and customers promptly and accurately.
Understand customs regulations to ensure compliance and effective interaction with authorities.
Closely monitor and manage transportation costs, labor costs and other logistics or supply chain activities.
Bachelors degree required.
At least 5-7 years of experience working in the Import and Export department, at the same position within a manufacturing environment.
Experienced at least 3 years at manager level.
Proven leadership skills.
Strong understanding of customs regulations and export procedures.
Proficient in English or Chinese communication.
Well-versed in using customs software and related systems.
