1. JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Food Safety Supervisor to join our pre-opening team. In this key role, you will ensure that all Food & Beverage and Kitchen operations comply with the hotel's food safety and hygiene standards. You will also lead the implementation and improvement of our Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in line with local regulations and international best practices.
2. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Food Safety Compliance
Ensure all F&B and Kitchen staff are fully trained and strictly comply with the hotel's food safety and hygiene standards.
Conduct regular inspections and internal audits to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
Prepare and communicate audit reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
Monitor food waste and food cost performance to support cost control and sustainability initiatives.
Maintain consistent, high-quality standards across all food products and service areas.
2.2 Process Control & Monitoring
Oversee and verify all procedures related to ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and issuing food items.
Ensure quality control of all incoming ingredients and adherence to safe food-handling practices.
Identify potential non-compliance issues, propose preventive solutions, and recommend immediate corrective actions to the Executive Chef and Operations Manager.
Provide early risk alerts and monitor the implementation progress of corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with all assigned tasks and directives from superiors.
Take the lead in implementing and continuously enhancing the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) within the hotel.
2.3 Training & Supervision
Conduct regular training sessions for kitchen and service teams on hygiene, sanitation, and food safety best practices.
Provide close supervision and on-the-job coaching to ensure daily compliance with hygiene standards.
Foster a strong safety culture across all F&B departments through active communication and engagement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or higher education in Food Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Good English communication skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
