This position will be responsible for managing and optimizing global trade lanes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with international regulations.. You will do this by working with a variety of internal stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:
Tender Management
- Ensure RFQs and tenders timely and accurate completion (100% lane fulfilment)
- Conduct sanity checks on rates, freetimes, carrier, schedule details ( if needed)
- Upload MSRs from local offices
- Align with countries on specific requirement ( i.e. Freetimes, Subj/ Incl surcharges like CIC, EBS,etc)
- Review accessial surcharges( e.g EDS, GRI, PSS, etc) and adjust margins ( if needded)
- Complete local tenders and overseas rates sheet reviews
Rate Management
- Upload FAK, NAC, spot rates in Searates
- Liaise with SeaRates on any filing disputes ( incorrect rates, surcharge,validity, etc)
- Upload carrier service flyer, service profiles, surcharge notices in Team Channels
- Liaise with carriers for rate activation, revisions, extensions
- Request rate quotation from carriers { freight, surcharge, validity, freetime, allocation(if applicable)}
Report Management
- Generate, review and monitor lifting performance report (BO reports) of countries and carriers against targets
Others
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support the trade/
business development managers daily activities.
- Bachelor Degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Solid English communication
- At least 1 year of working experiences as the same role
- Good knowledge of freight forwarding, import & export, LCL and FCL
- Solid MS Office applications experience and skills
