ROLE PURPOSE:
A primary mission of this position is to develop and implement proactive influencing strategies together with Government/External Affairs, , Legal and all relevant members of the Regulatory Affairs division to protect and expand access to marketplace. This position also interprets and communicates consequences of technical and regulatory policies, current or in development, which can affect products, claims, or technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Regulatory Affairs:
- Develop and maintain 3-5-year influencing strategies aligned with Vietnam business goals, in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, regional R&D, Marketing, Legal, and Government Affairs teams.
- Leverage experience and knowledge in Vietnam regulatory affairs to help to provide strategic advice to management team
2. Industry & Government Relations:
- Build and lead strategic partnerships with trade associations, industry stakeholders, key regulators, and scientific key opinion leaders to drive collaboration and influence regulatory policies.
- Oversee related engagements and projects, providing leadership through active participation.
3. Communication & Reporting:
- Prepare and publish quarterly Regulatory & Policy reports for the Regional R&D Executive team and Corporate Regulatory team.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Maintain regular alignment with Vietnam Regulatory and Corporate Regulatory counterparts on new technologies, product development, regulatory risks, and potential government actions.
- Lead influencing efforts for existing products, related processes, and pre-ITM new technologies.
5. Initiative & Enterprise Alignment:
- Independently plan and coordinate country-specific regulatory initiatives with influential associations, standardization bodies, government advisors, and scientific partners.
- Drive communication and collaboration to ensure alignment with Amway Affiliate and enterprise strategic objectives.
Yêu cầu
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering;
15+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Advocacy, or Government Affairs within FMCG, Food & Nutrition, or Pharmaceuticals.
Technical & Regulatory Expertise: Strong command of Vietnam, ASEAN, and Codex Alimentarius product regulations; proven track record of successful advocacy with trade associations and regulatory bodies.
Core Competencies & Language: Technical risk assessment, regulatory strategy execution; fluent in written and spoken English, proficient in MS Office.
