*** JOB RESPONSIBILTY:

* Overview:

(All positions in MFV expect a strong security mindset, with a clear understanding of data privacy, credential protection, device security, and the responsible use of corporate systems, tools, and accounts)

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for operating the common infrastructure (EKS platform) used by various applications of Money Forward.

• Development, operation, and maintenance related to the EKS environment
• Development, operation, and maintenance of tools related to the above

* Specific Tasks within the Team:

• Upgrading EKS and related add-ons
• Development and maintenance of OSS and tools used in the EKS environment (such as Karpenter and Vault)
• Monitoring, alert setting, and incident response using Datadog
• Designing, building, and operating platforms (CI/CD, development environment, test environment, etc.) to maximize the productivity of the development team
• Performance optimization and creating mechanisms for it
• Other infrastructure environment settings (such as TrangitGateway)
• Cost optimization

* Job Responsibilities for the Position:

You are expected to support the Platform users, and also execute operations on our platform. The following are some of the tasks. We will discuss them during the interview process.

• Support developers who use our EKS platform
• Infrastructure environment settings (such as AWS resources)
• Upgrading EKS and related add-ons
• Monitoring, alert setting, and incident response using Datadog
  

Must have:

・Practical experience in operation in the fields of SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure (7+ years)
・Practical experience in development and operation of production systems using cloud environments (especially AWS)
・Experience in managing container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes like EKS
・Experience in building and utilizing monitoring environments using monitoring and observability tools
・Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (tools such as Terraform are not specified)
・Development experience through mutual review using Pull Requests with Git

Nice to have:

・Development and operation experience with AKS on Azure
・Experience in designing and operating SLI/SLO
・Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.
