JOB DESCRIPTION
1.
General Accounting &
Ledger Control
Manage
full accounting operations and system transactions.
Maintain
and reconcile GL and sub-ledgers, ensuring audit readiness.
Lead
month-end, quarter-end, year-end closings.
Oversee
chart of accounts, posting rules, and interpret management reports.
Provide
accounting support during staff shortages or urgent issues.
2.
Sub-ledger Operations
Handle
AR/AP: review contracts, credit terms, invoices, and reconciliations.
Automate
bank and cash reconciliations; support payment runs and cash flow
forecasts.
Monitor
inventory, costing, fixed assets; participate in stocktakes and variance
analysis.
3.
Tax & Invoicing
Manage
subsidiary tax matters.
Prepare
and file all required tax returns ensuring compliance with VAS and local
laws.
Maintain
tax checklists and liaise with authorities and auditors.
4.
Reporting & Analytics
Build
and automate management reports using Excel and SQL.
Conduct
variance analyses distinguishing operational and accounting impacts.
Maintain
finance data documentation and reporting schedules.
5.
Process, Controls & System
Enhancements
Implement
LEAN/Kaizen improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain
maker-checker controls and collaborate on data/model optimization with
IT/BI teams.
6.
Business Partnering &
Stakeholder Engagement
Advise
on contracts, tax, promotions, and payment terms.
Translate
financial data into business recommendations.
7.
Asset & Cash Flow
Management
Monitor
assets, insurance, and security.
Develop
and control cash flow forecasts and overhead budgets.
8. Additional Duties
Responsible
for sales analysis, debtor collections, credit policy enforcement, and
payment processing.
Complete
ad hoc tasks as assigned by Line Manager and Group Finance Controller.
REQUIREMENTS
PERSONAL SPECS
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.
· Chief Accountant certification is plus.
· Minimum 03 years of experience in accounting, finance, and tax, preferably in a multinational company.
· Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations, VAS, and IFRS.
· Advanced technical skills:
o Excel: expert (dynamic formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot, data validation, reconciliation ticks).
o SQL: proficient in data extraction, joining datasets, and basic performance optimization.
o Power BI: capable of building dashboards, applying DAX, and managing model security.
· Experience in financial reporting, tax audits, and compliance matters.
· Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
· Experience with accounting software (SAP, Fast).
· CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
