JOB DESCRIPTION
We are searching for Audit Assistant who is expected to:
Develop a deep understanding of the Mazars' audit approach, methodology & tools.
Develop an understanding of the audit client's business.
Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.
Evaluate internal control systems and policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.
Perform required audit procedures to obtain sufficient audit evidence over certain areas of the audit with a focus on quality and in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
Identify any accounting or audit issues and perform the necessary research to resolve such issues.
Proactive in seeking coaching and clarification on assigned tasks from the audit seniors and aud
it managers.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Candidates for the position of Audit Assistant need to fulfill the following criteria:
6 months - 2 years in a professional services/corporate environment, working as an Audit Assistant
Relevant University Degree (e.g., Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce).
A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions.
Good data processing and management skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Passionate, dedicated, and able to work under high pressure..
