JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist to join our EdTech Company. The ideal candidate is passionate about education and digital marketing and has a proven track record of creating and executing successful social media campaigns. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website.
Develop and implement our social media strategy across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Create and publish engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience
Monitor and respond to comments and messages on our social media platforms in a timely manner
Collaborate with our content team to create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content
Plan and execute social media campaigns and track their success using analytics tools
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
Manage and grow our social media following and engagement
Identify and collaborate with social media influencers and other strategic partners
Develop and maintain relationships with online communities and groups related to education
Collaborate with our customer support team to ensure that customer queries and complaints on social media are resolved effectively
Provide regular reports on social media performance to the management team
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
2+ years of experience in social media management
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to write engaging copy
Strong attention to detail and project management skills
Creative thinker with a passion for education and digital marketing
