About the Internship
This 6-month internship provides a unique opportunity for highly motivated and intellectually curious students to gain practical experience in a dynamic and challenging finance and accounting environment. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop a strong foundation in key financial concepts and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Assist with accounts payable/receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist with the month-end/quarter-end close process.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
Finance:
Assist with financial analysis and reporting, including budget preparation and variance analysis.
Conduct research and analysis on financial markets and industry trends.
Support treasury functions, such as cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
Assist with special projects related to financial planning and analysis.
Other: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong academic record with a strong GPA.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
