JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Data Analyst Intern at Timo, you will have the opportunity to work with real-world data and contribute to our data-driven decision-making process. You will be an integral part of our team, helping us uncover valuable insights that inform product development, marketing strategies, and business operations. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to learn and grow their skills in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Document Data Logic: Review and document the data logic and table structures for the department and company.
Collect and Analyze Data: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating large datasets from various sources.
Generate Insights: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key insights related to customer behavior and product performance.
Create Reports and Dashboards: Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with commercial analysts, marketing specialists, and engineers to understand their data needs and gather the necessary logic for documentation.
Monitor Performance: Help track and report on key business metrics and KPIs.
Learn and Grow: Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to expand your knowledge of data analytics, fintech, and modern data tools.
REQUIREMENTS
Currently a 4th-year student or a recent graduate (within 1 year) with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Business.
Familiarity with SQL for data querying is a must.
Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio, Holistics, or similar is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of a programming language like Python is a bonus.
Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
A proactive, self-motivated, and curious mindset with a passion for learning.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Recommended
Hands-on projects: Experience with personal or academic data analysis projects.
Fintech interest: A strong interest in the financial technology sector and digital banking trends.
Version control: Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
AI/Machine Learning: A basic understanding of AI or machine learning concepts is a plus.
